Subukia Constituency is one of the 290 constituencies in Kenya situated in Nakuru County along Nakuru- Nyahururu Highway. It is one of the 11 constituencies in Nakuru County. It has 3 Wards Subukia Constituency borders Rongai Constituency, Laikipia West Constituency and Bahati Constituency.
Population
The population projection of the constituency based on the 2009 census is 161,965 people.

Economy
The constituency covers an area of 424.25 sq. Kilometers is mainly under subsistence agriculture and Tomato farming with a very small percentage under which grow pyrethrum, cabbages Dairy farming tea, coffee, french beans, maize, wheat potatoes and several other crops. Subukia constituency economy is dominated by small scale farming and peasantry activities. Being the staple food all Subukia residents plant maize for both food and cash. There are also small-scale trading enterprises which include shop keeping, buying and selling of cereals and vegetables and ‘matatu’ transport business. Currently there is one privately owned tea factory (Lasit tea factory) in Kabazi location and and two flower farms, Subati flower farm in Arash location and Mzuri flower farm in kabazi location. The two flower farms have employed several locals. We also have a milk processing plant (Suka dairy farm) in Subukia East sub location few Jua Kali workshops in market places.
